Dear Time

Life Letters

Dear Time,

I feel myself losing you. We were once connected, I embraced the inevitable and waited for your guidance. There was a point when I was sure that you would be there for me, forever. Yesterday was a cheater, today turned out to be a liar and tomorrow seems like a con artist.

Now, I see that yesterday, today and tomorrow are all the same. Tell me this, how does it feel to be in control when you’re only an illusion? You are not real. You don’t exist. Those hours on the clock mean nothing and yet each minute mimics meaning. I’ve been told that you wait for no one and in return, I won’t wait for you.
