Neurotic Nostalgia

Poetry

A mountain’s climb gone too soon

I was pushed into ascension

With celestial beings surrounding me

The decision was the anchor that freed my truth

My mind and soul finally intertwined

I reminded myself of the great glories ahead

I blindly danced into the abyss

No longer waiting for heaven’s rescue

I was liberated in my freedom

Revealing my core, I ripped off the mask

I could no longer pretend

Nostalgia’s words no longer resonated

Oshun’s Kiss

Poetry

Sun kissed skin full of tan lines

I am the Goddess of light

The sun’s señorita of ether

Spectrums of light codes

Downloaded into your pineal gland

I am sunshine’s tears on winter’s morning

A warm breeze between your hips

My light rays beam within you

Will you appreciate my beauty?

Or will you make love to the shade?
